The Silver Dollar Room was packed with a jubilant crowd and we fed off that energy as if it were the last scraps of food on earth. The stage sound was less than desirable and we five quickly found ourselves in an unspoken agreement, performing under the ridiculous (but fun) credo of “if in doubt, pound it out”. Finesse wasn’t an option, so brute force took its place, for better or worse (though in this case it seemed better).
All in all a very enjoyable experience for us. Fantastic to be a part of Canadian Music Week, and a remarkable turn-out for 9:00 PM on a Thursday!
